Bill Quist (aka Billy, William, Leon) grew up in South Dakota, lived in Wisconsin for 25 years, and currently resides in Minneapolis. He spent 30 years as a poet trapped in an engineer's body.

 

His poems have won prizes from Wisconsin People & Ideas and the South Dakota State Poetry Society, and have appeared in Passager, Wisconsin People & Ideas, Poetry Jumps Off the Shelf, Wisconsin Poets' Calendar, Pasque Petals, Red Booth Review, Free Verse, and other more obscure places.
